14.07.2006 -- The company Schwäbische Härtetechnik Ulm (SHU) has successfully switched its EDI system to the EDI integration platform COMMunix XC from Retarus. The medium-sized automotive supplier is now able to exchange business data in XML format using state-of-the-art technology. Compared with conventional migration processes, the company benefited from time and cost savings of 75%.
Dipl.-Ing. Wolf-Uli Schön, the Project Leader at SHU, had only positive things to say about the completed migration: "By switching from the Seeburger solution WinELKE to COMMunix XC from Retarus, we now have a state-of-the-art EDI communication platform. Retarus offers a high level of cost transparency and also managed to finish the complete migration process in just three days. This means that we will be able to extend our EDI interfaces to the XML standard in future – and we can also achieve time and cost savings of 30 percent thanks to the high performance and flexibility of COMMunix XC."
