Four charity organizations have been listed to receive donations from retarus GmbH: Lichtblick Seniorenhilfe e.V. (assistance for senior citizens), H-Team e.V. (organization supporting private welfare work) , Fluchtpunkt e.V. – (organization to care for the youth) and Frauenhaus München GmbH. Following the hiring of 47 new staff members last year by retarus GmbH, these four charities share a 5-digit donation.
"We are thrilled that Retarus supported us in overcoming the challenges and tasks of the past year", explains Fluchtpunkt director Alexandra Leitner. "The donations received from Retarus enabled us to purchase urgently needed toys and furniture, and to enlarge the activity room at our emergency overnight accommodation."
"Corporate Citizenship is not just a fashionable buzzword for us", points out Martin Hager, founder and CEO of Retarus: "We would much rather have our staff members identify not only with our company, but also with our social and regional commitment."
In order to allow this commitment a personal nature, each employee is given the opportunity to decide which of the four organizations will benefit from “their” donation. Moreover, members of staff are given one or two days each year to get to know and support their chosen projects in person.
