Successful modern electronic communication relies on the ability to reach addressees accurately via their preferred channels of communication. Retarus WebExpress 3.0 makes this possible at all times: mailouts, newsletters, customer information, press releases or staff briefs can all be sent easily and conveniently by e-mail, fax and SMS. The user-friendly distribution administrator allows the user to allocate a preferred means of communication for each recipient. Each message is formatted to suit the chosen means of communication, including the option to use international alphabet characters.
In version 3.0 of WebExpress the e-mail functionality has been greatly enhanced and expanded. The newly developed bounce management function ensures that the recipient’s mail server responses are thoroughly analyzed and classified. As a result distribution lists are easy to maintain and address details can be kept up-to-date. New features also include link tracking and an opening-rate counter. Should e-mails sent by WebExpress 3.0 contain links to internet sites, it is always possible to follow whether and how often these links are actually clicked on.
WebExpress now includes not only an unsubscribe function, but also offers a multilevel opt-in system, via which clients can generate new e-mail, fax and SMS contact details of interested parties. The subscribe function allows the creation of CI conformant registration pages, through which interested parties can sign up for different themes and diverse newsletters. This function also conforms to legal requirements. Creating these pages requires no programming knowledge.
In order to prevent e-mails from being mistaken as unwanted by spam filters, WebExpress 3.0 has been equipped with an online spam test. Prior to sending the message, the user can click on a button to check whether the e-mail will be tolerated by spam filters. The result is a campaign with significantly higher delivery rates. As the multichannel tool sends messages via a high-performance transmission infrastructure, the client’s newsletters can also be delivered to addressees who are located behind so-called grey-listing filters.
A decisive advantage is also provided by the comprehensive reports which WebExpress 3.0 delivers to its users: directly after sending a marketing campaign each and every addressee can be checked to establish which of them were successfully reached, and to ascertain the reasons for unsuccessful transmissions. In sending e-mails, for example, link tracking and bounce analysis permits immediate supervision of success rates.
Using WebExpress 3.0 only requires an internet connection and a standard internet browser. Retarus’ high performance transmission infrastructure ensures that even massive campaigns can be sent at any point in time to several thousand recipients on time and without delay – whether by e-mail, fax or SMS.
