Faxes can still be sent, despite no longer having analogue fax lines. Documents intended for fax transmission are transferred directly to Retarus‘ data centers via a dedicated data line, from where they are sent on as conventional faxes.
Moreover, Faxolution for Exchange simplifies the administration of fax services in a sustainable way. This is due to the fact that Retarus Enterprise Administration Service Portal (EAS) provides a central platform through which each work station can be administrated and configured. Easy administration of user rights and highly visible, automated billing at cost centre level are ensured as a matter of course. User details can be automatically synchronized with the company’s internal Active Directory without any additional administrative effort.
Fax orders which are being sent or have been planned can be tracked in real time. In emergency cases transmission can even be interrupted.
Even a global roll-out – no matter how inaccessible the region – can be carried out smoothly, inexpensively and at short notice as the implementation of Faxolution for Exchange is handled remotely. Operating Faxolution for Exchange is exactly the same as using the fax interface already included in Exchange or Outlook. In order to fax documents using Retarus Faxolution for Exchange users only have to select the relevant fax number from the Outlook Address Book or enter the number directly into the address field.
