The communication platform Retarus WebExpress 3.1 has now been extended to include an easy to integrate programming interface. This makes it possible to link existing address administration or complex CRM systems directly to WebExpress. The new distribution list upload function significantly reduces time spent setting up campaigns. All relevant contact data are automatically forwarded to WebExpress. Companies that use Retarus WebExpress can maintain contact details centrally – in the application of their choice.
Optimized distribution list administration
The duplication control has also been boosted - address entries included twice are not only identified on the basis of an identical address, but also on reference details such as the customer number. This makes it possible to send a personalized fax to several contacts who share a fax number. This facilitates transmission to several editors in an editorial team, doctors in a joint practice or lawyers in law firms, for example, and significantly increases the range and throughput of fax campaigns.
Also new: Retarus WebExpress version 3.1 now recognizes column headings and automatically assigns column types to them when uploading distribution lists. So all entries in a column with the heading "e-mail" are identified as e-mail addresses, speeding up the uploading of distribution lists even more.
Flexible transmission functionality
The transmission of mixed communication formats has also been facilitated. It is now possible to send an e-mail with an attached data file which is to be automatically faxed. This is simply done by providing a fax number for the recipient in the distribution list, rather than an e-mail address. This means that all communication is managed from the same user interface without any intermediate steps, making things significantly easier for PR and IR departments.
Retarus has also invested in the transmission infrastructure. Now e-mail newsletters are personalized by a cluster of servers, which significantly increases the processing speed. This makes it possible to transmit even larger mailing campaigns with several hundred thousand addresses punctually and within a very short time.
Finally, transmission success management and reporting have also been thoroughly revised. Once a mailing task has been completed the sender automatically receives an e-mail report. They can then access the reporting page directly from this mail and call up all available information in a detailed Excel table.
For many years now Retarus WebExpress 3.1 has been established at a large number of companies from very different sectors as a reliable and easy-to-use tool for sending mail campaigns, press releases or customer and employee messages. Retarus CEO Martin Hager details: "We brought Retarus WebExpress onto the market five years ago to offer our customers a state-of the art and highly functional communication solution, which utilizes all possibilities offered by the latest technological development. Unlike many other competitor solutions, we continuously develop Retarus WebExpress further."
