Volvo Trucks Central Europe GmbH sends out about 3,000 invoices a month. Sending these invoices in the conventional way – that is paper-based and by post – this is not only expensive but also delays all associated invoicing processes. To slim down these processes sustainably and at the same time minimize the costs of invoicing, Volvo Trucks Region Central Europe GmbH now sends electronic invoices using Retarus eSign, the internationally legally conformant SaaS solution.
Retarus eSign is a complete package for sending and receiving invoices electronically and securely. The solution, offered as a Managed Service, makes it possible to create, validate and control electronic invoicing signatures and ensure compliance with tax requirements in more than 40 countries. Retarus eSign is easy for Volvo Trucks to use. Invoices are transferred to Retarus in PDF-format, where a qualified digital signature is automatically added. The invoices are then sent out quickly, inexpensively and securely via the Retarus messaging infrastructure. Shortly after this, the customer receives an electronic invoice which satisfies all of the provisions of German and international law.
