Almost all companies are increasingly sending news and information to external partners completely automatically: order confirmations, delivery notes, balance statements, stock lists, reminders, and so on are created in and sent directly from ERP systems. This transactional messaging is a dynamically growing market segment, which a specialized team at retarus GmbH will now be responsible for. Klaus Baumann will organize and manage this sales team.

Since 2009 the Retarus data centers have had an SAP-certified interface for sending fax and e-mail messages, with 750 SAP systems already connected. The new sales team will initially address and develop the market for sending faxes from SAP systems automatically.
"With the new unit we will increasingly focus on a market which is already important to us and will continue to grow substantially more significant", explains Retarus founder and CEO Martin Hager. "In the modern supply chain structures of many companies secure communication, including by fax, has taken on a critical role. With the new unit we will continue to expand our position as a market leader in this segment."
Klaus Baumann, born in 1959, has a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from RWTH Aachen. Professional milestones include responsible sales positions at Apollo Domain Computer, Hewlett Packard and Premiere Global Services (formerly Xpedite Systems), where he started out as Sales Manager, was promoted to Operations Director for the German-speaking countries and then Sales Manager for Central and Southern Europe from 2007.
