Retarus eFax - The smart alternative
This innovative mail service is ideal for companies that receive faxes centrally and then distribute them to individual recipients. Incoming fax orders are forwarded directly to the responsible employee. If the responsibilities of this person happen to change, there is no need to inform everyone of a new fax number. The fax routing can be easily changed at any time. Retarus eFax automatically takes care of correct routing for you.
Incoming faxes can be stored as PDF or TIFF attachments and are forwarded by e-mail. If the sender ID (CSID) is known and the corresponding routing is set up, the message is forwarded to a predefined mail address. For example, this means it is possible to use a 01800 fax number for incoming orders. Existing fax numbers can be kept without having to notify customers. Alternatively, a fax number can also be set up at Retarus.
Retarus RMX eFax is administered via a web interface. New CSIDs can be assigned directly to any e-mail address on the web interface.

Optional: Back-up copies of received fax messages
Retarus receives faxes in the name of the customer and also "acknowledges" receipt. If an error occurs during transmission to the customer system, Retarus offers a back-up system in which all incoming faxes are kept. For each customer e-mail address stored in our system, we create a mailbox where all incoming messages are stored. This solution means that we can retrieve lost messages up to 30 days after a transmission error.
