Retarus Managed Fax Services allow users to send faxes and SMS messages from within mail clients or receive faxes by e-mail. The Retarus Managed Service concept doesn't require any hardware or software. With these services, Fax as a Service is completed as a true SAAS offering.
Mail2Fax: universal fax interface and printer substitute
The e-mails are sent directly from an e-mail client to the Retarus data centers. From there, they are sent as a fax to the destination number. Retarus Mail2Fax also provides support for printing formatted HTML messages and any attached Office documents. The user receives an e-mail containing status notifications for faxes that have been successfully sent.
The Retarus Mail2Fax interface makes it incredibly easy to integrate a powerful fax infrastructure into business applications such as ERP and CRM systems. Mail2Fax is also an ideal substitute printer for PDAs and mobile devices. Simply send an e-mail with all of its attachments to a nearby fax machine with Retarus Mail2Fax.
Windows "Desktop Fax" enhancement
The Retarus Desktop Fax Tool is an optional enhancement for the Mail2Fax service. Available in 14 languages, it enables you to fax documents right from the Windows desktop using the Mail2Fax interface. Support is also, of course, provided for functions such as CSID, delivery time and cancellation. Faxes can even be sent to mailing lists.

Faxolution for Notes
With Retarus Faxolution for Notes, a Notes-based enhancement for Mail2Fax, fax messages can be sent both quickly and easily over the Notes client without a separate fax server and outside telephone lines. A fax can be made up of rich text and all kinds of file attachments and sent to several recipients. Operation is easy and intuitive. It is also possible to search for fax messages or to send a copy of the message as an e-mail.
Fax2Mail: direct digitized forwarding and workflow optimization
Retarus Fax2Mail allows incoming faxes to be forwarded directly to an e-mail inbox. The e-mail can then be read and responded to as if a regular e-mail. Each user can be assigned an individual number for receiving faxes as e-mails. Faxes no longer need to be subsequently digitized. The received documents can be stored and archived as they are, or routed to a workflow system. Faxes can also be received by central service numbers and then sent to the respective recipients once the sender has been verified.
Mail2SMS: send e-mails reliably to cell phones
Messages sent with Mail2SMS are sent directly to the Short Message Service Centers. The content of text messages is restricted to the first 160 characters in the subject line of the sent mail. After the message has been successfully delivered to the Short Message Service Centre, the sender receives an e-mail confirmation.
Ultimate Process Transparency at the EAS Portal
The Enterprise Administration Services (EAS) portal is a central administration platform, which provides you with in-depth transmission statistics and monthly reports detailing individual connections. In addition to reports and statistical analyses, you also benefit from a wide range of easy-to-use configuration options conveniently available around the clock. These include the settings for receiving and sending messages as well as the user administration for our Fax2Mail, Mail2Fax and Fax2SMS services. The helpdesk support provided by Retarus is equally visible, showing the processing status in the Support Ticket Reports at all times.
The EAS-portal facilitates a live view into the Retarus fax back-end. Authorized administrators are thus allowed an uninterrupted and detailed overview over all current fax jobs, including the possibility to view the documents and cancel the sending if necessary.
All reporting and monitoring information can be downloaded in at any time and referring to any time period. These analysis and control functions emphasize our committment to being the most transparent provider of messaging services on the market.
Fax2Printer
The Fax2Printer service is an elegant and simple way to receive large quantities of faxes sending them right to a printer and making busy signals a thing of the past. Expensive outside phone lines and physical fax machines are no longer necessary. The fax messages to the customer are sent over fast Internet connections that allow for much higher transmission rates than fax and phone lines.
