Messaging specialist strengthens its senior management

Secaucus, 05/31/2016 // Florian Frick is named the new General Counsel of the Retarus Group. Effective immediately, the attorney will advise Retarus’ senior management on all strategic issues regarding international law and regulatory provisions, as well as compliance requirements. Florian Frick reports directly to Johannes Hecker, COO of the Retarus Group.

With the addition of Florian Frick as General Counsel, the global messaging specialist strengthens its senior management with an experienced expert in international commercial law, and IT and telecommunications law. In this newly created role, the attorney will primarily support the global expansion strategy of Retarus from a legal standpoint. Furthermore, he will continue to advance Retarus’ association involvement, with the aim of addressing the current needs of customers.

Before joining Retarus, Florian Frick was Head of Legal Technology & Corporate Services at Vodafone Kabel Deutschland GmbH. Prior to 2011, he worked for Atos, formerly Siemens IT Solutions and Services (SIS), with high-level duties as its senior legal counsel. There he played a key role in advising on the legal and planning aspects of the global carve-out of SIS from Siemens AG and the subsequent integration of the group division in Atos. Prior to this, he worked for many years as corporate counsel for Siemens Enterprise Communications (later Unify) and Allianz Versicherungs-AG.
