The US market is continuing to grow in significance for the global provider of managed services. In the first half of the 2015 business year Retarus recorded a 45.2 percent rise in turnover in the US in comparison to the same period a year earlier. “We have seen that the acceptance of European service providers has increased considerably in the USA over recent years,” remarks Martin Hager, Retarus Group CEO, on the growth strategy of the communication services provider based in Munich. “As a globally active company with German roots, we benefit from the excellent reputation of German engineering, which we also draw on in providing our services.”

On the American market the healthcare and finance sectors are particularly strong motors for Retarus’ growth. The company’s success rests on comprehensive expertise and successful implementation of international legal and sector-specific requirements, backed up by remarkably high security and service standards. A crucial factor is the ongoing technical development of the product portfolio. “It is very important to our users that our products are continuously being improved by our own in-house development team, with new features being added to ensure that the service constantly adapts to meet current industry requirements.”, says Stefan P. Rath, who is responsible for the US business in his role as President and CEO at Retarus Inc. “As part of our global strategy we offer local support on site, which especially represents clear added value for our American customers.”

Retarus operates its own data centers at seven sites worldwide, including the USA. This means Retarus is in the position to offer companies and corporations the full range of electronic communication services with a single service level agreement which is valid worldwide, including local support. Retarus has its own subsidiaries in ten countries and currently runs its business from 20 branch offices around the globe. The services provided range from managed fax, email, SMS, voice and EDI services to the secure transmission of documents and exchange of data along the full length of the supply and value chain, through to the safeguarding of business-critical messaging infrastructures for all sectors and company sizes.
