Retarus enhances its Secure Email Platform with new outbound features

Cyber criminals often use compromised email accounts to hijack company names and domains, misusing them to send out spam and phishing messages. To prevent this, the Outbound AntiSpam Detection and Outbound Phishing Filter check outbound messages for spam content and malicious links. Any outbound message classified accordingly is then either rejected or automatically deleted, depending on the user-configured settings. This ensures that no phishing or spam messages are sent out to business partners or customers by way of their email domain, effectively protecting the reputation of the company.

Through their new feature Outbound Recipient Restriction, Retarus additionally gives companies the opportunity to limit the maximum number of recipients for an outbound email.
