Does Retarus need full access to our email servers?

No, we use secure, API-based access to the inboxes. Your existing email infrastructure remains unchanged – a crucial benefit in the context of compliance and control. With on-prem Exchange installations, communication takes place via the EWS API (Exchange Web Services), while the Microsoft Graph API is used for Exchange Online. The application requires the necessary rights to access user email accounts and administrate emails.

Can administrators define their own specific rules to govern your response to threats?

Yes, the PZD (Patient Zero Detection) Real-Time Response dashboard allows administrators to define specific rules to determine your response to the discovery of known threats, for instance moving or deleting emails.
