And where personal data is processed and highly sensitive messages are sent using the cloud, further questions arise – such as where the provider is headquartered, the location of its data centers, who operates them, and with which security measures? Are they certified, and can they be audited? And what services are contractually assured? And what about GDPR and the Cloud Act?

This live talk discusses the importance of trust in the digital world, looking at the example of an innovative healthcare technology firm needing to build trust instantly to deliver a vital COVID-19 testing program. This project was a prototype for government bodies, healthcare providers, and private organizations seeking to meet the growing demand for rapid deployment of a digital solution. One special area of focus was time-sensitive communication with parents and schools via e-mail and SMS.
