Security check at the click of a button: Retarus launches Security Center for all customers

Comprehensively examine suspicious files in only a few seconds. No matter whether they have arrived via email, USB, or file transfer.

IT administrators of all Retarus customers are now able to upload files effortlessly in virtually any format to the new Security Center for checking, simply from their browsers. Within just a few seconds, an in-depth analysis of the file takes place – by way of four different virus scanners. This however, is only the beginning as inspection will soon be augmented by cutting-edge sandboxing technology, enhancing the virus scanning capabilities. The results and any potential findings are immediately displayed in the browser.

Within the scope of its Secure Email Platform, Retarus provides a comprehensive range of services and patented technologies to safeguard and leverage all aspects of the crucial email communication channel. With the launch of the Security Center, all Communications Platform and Business Integration Services customers can now also benefit from Retarus’ many years of cyber security expertise.

The new service is available immediately at no additional cost via Retarus’ centralized, browser-based Enterprise Administration Services (EAS). The Security Center will automatically be activated for authorized technical contacts across all Retarus Cloud Services clients and partners.

At Retarus, data security and protection are always of utmost importance. This holds true for all services, new and old. For the Security Center we place great emphasis on the secure transmission and encryption of temporary storage of data. We exclusively use data centers located in Europe and operate them ourselves. Once files have been analyzed and transmitted, all data is immediately deleted.

In future, the Security Center will continuously be expanded to include additional data sources and functions. Find out more about these additions as well as all future updates right here at the Retarus blog.
