If your teams work in Salesforce and rely on fax for critical document delivery, the goal should be simple: let them send documents directly from the application they already use and keep full visibility into every transmission without leaving Salesforce.
That is why we continue to expand our Cloud Fax App for Salesforce. It natively integrates cloud faxing into Sales, Service, and Health Cloud on desktop and mobile. With the newly released version 2.2, we extended the app to support a much broader range of Salesforce-driven processes.
Send documents directly from more options in Salesforce
The biggest update is the significantly widened scope: Salesforce users can now initiate fax transmissions not just from Contacts and Accounts but from any standard or custom object.
That matters as processes are different in every business. In different organizations, faxing is triggered from various workflows, often built around specific Salesforce objects. The key point is that faxing can now be integrated directly into any of these processes, regardless of which object they are built around. With v2.1 of the Cloud Fax App for Salesforce, faxing can now happen directly inside those processes instead of outside them.
The app automatically pulls fax numbers and other relevant data from contacts or accounts. It supports cover pages and retries as well, making it easier to fully handle document transmissions inside Salesforce without extra manual steps.
Keep every document and status notification linked to the original record
When faxing is part of critical business processes, teams need more than a send button. They need full visibility into what happened with their documents. That is why the app keeps job details, status notifications and the transmitted documents linked to the original Salesforce object. This provides teams with the transparency they need. Users can see the relevant information in their application, right where the process started.
At the same time, full reporting and job tracking are available both in Salesforce and in our web-based admin portal. This gives users operational insights in their day-to-day environment while supporting administrators’ needs for deeper reporting.
Why this matters
Retarus Cloud Fax for Salesforce lets organizations send documents directly from their processes, avoiding process breaks and making the status of document transmissions visible where teams already work. This applies particularly to organizations depending on Salesforce as a central operational platform. With faxing directly embedded, their teams work faster and have clearer visibility into each transmission.
For inbound scenarios, Cloud Fax supports Email-to-Case and connections via API to deliver documents and their transmission data exactly where they’re required for further processes.
A stronger fit for real-world processes
The new version of the app fits more naturally into the way organizations actually use Salesforce. It supports a broader range of processes and keeps the status of every transmission connected to its Salesforce object. That makes the app a practical choice for organizations that want fax-based document exchange embedded directly into their Salesforce processes.
