A Major Upgrade Our Customers Didn’t Even Notice…and That’s the Point

Imagine fundamentally improving service without ever experiencing a single interruption: faster, more reliable, and more scalable.

That’s exactly what we’ve just accomplished.

Behind the scenes, we completed a full-scale migration of our Transactional Email backend system. But here’s what truly matters: it happened while everything was still running. No downtime. No disruption. No action required from our customers. The operations continued seamlessly, as if nothing had changed…except now, everything is better.

Why This Matters

From a customer perspective, system upgrades can be a source of concern. Will there be outages? Will performance dip? Will workflows break? This upgrade flips that expectation on its head.

By executing a “heart still beating” migration, we’ve proven that innovation doesn’t have to come at the cost of stability. Allthe benefits without the usual trade-offs.

What is Gained

  • Faster Performance: the platform is now running on a modernized backend designed to handle data more efficiently. That means quicker responses, smoother workflows, and less waiting.
  • Improved Reliability: we didn’t just move data, we cleaned it. Implementing thousands of optimizations means the system is now working with higher-quality, more consistent data, reducing errors and improving trust in operations.
  • Scalability for Growth: whether needs double or grow tenfold, the new infrastructure is built to scale as needed. Organizations won’t outgrow the system. It’s designed to grow alongside those businesses.
  • Enhanced Self-Service Capabilities: this upgrade lays the groundwork for more powerful self-service features. Greater control, more flexibility, and less reliance on support for day-to-day configuration.

The Scale Behind the Scenes

While the experience felt seamless, the work underneath was anything but small:

  • Thousands of new lines of code delivered to enhance internal tooling
  • Over 1,500 technical accounts and more than 12,000 sender domains successfully migrated
  • More than 1 million records processed into a new, optimized database
  • Thousands of data inconsistencies identified and resolved

All of this without interrupting service.

What Comes Next

This milestone isn’t the finish line; it’s the foundation.

With the new backend fully in place, we’re moving into the next phase: rolling out enhanced self-service administration capabilities in myEAS. These updates will give customers more direct control and visibility, making it easier to manage their environment on their terms.
