City of New Orleans, University of Giessen, Fürth Hospital Fall Victim to Cybercrime – Who’s Next in Line?
The computers at the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen have been offline for days. Last week, Klinikum Fürth (a large municipal hospital in southern Germany) was forced to disconnect from the emergency care services network. On the very same day, the City of New Orleans was caused to take precautionary steps after a virus had been discovered. Attacks on communal institutions and services around the globe are indeed becoming ever more frequent.
Retarus has been granted the full “PEPPOL Access Point” certification, which allows our customers to transmit electronic invoices to an increasing number of public institutions throughout Europe.
Retarus Transactional Email, our high-performance API for email transmission, now supports the secure transmission of virtually all file types. Secure Document Handling provides added security, when encrypting the transmission doesn’t ensure the required level of protection.
Our “Patient Zero Detection”® patented throughout Europe will from now on not only be able to detect malware in emails that have already been delivered, but also to automatically move or delete those messages.
