Retarus IDP: Even more visibility in your document workflows

Retarus Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) is constantly being developed further and enhanced. New features focus on making it easier to analyze specific document workflows, process documents efficiently, and retain critical information even after processing has been completed. Users are now also able to save their key custom settings.

Comparing suppliers in detail

The new KPI reporting filter enables even more refined analysis of key figures. By selecting one or more suppliers, you can view and compare their respective KPIs.

Combining the new filter with already existing ones allows for an even more detailed analysis of document-related processes. For instance, you can review and compare key metrics for specific suppliers over a given time period.

This gives you more detailed insight into workflows, how their perfomance develops over time, and any issues or anomalies.

Identify items requiring attention at first glance

The additional insight helps to streamline human-in-the-loop (HITL) document processing, with required fields and items requiring action now directly visible in the screen view.

  • Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
  • Confirmation required: Should an item contain a field that needs to be confirmed, the entire row is highlighted in yellow.
  • Required field left empty: If an item contains a required field that has not been filled, the entire row is highlighted in red.

This allows users to instantly recognize where they need to take action and to focus on areas in the workflow requiring attention.

Original documents retained

Even after processing has been completed, the original PDF documents are still accessible. They can be retrieved or exported as needed, thus making them readily available for use in downstream processes.

This is extremely useful in the event of failure to process or assign the message correctly, for instance, as well as for manual verification. The storage and retention settings can be adapted flexibly to meet your specific requirements.

As a result, your ability to trace and restore documents improves significantly. At the same time, it becomes easier to integrate the original documents into other processes.

Customize your working environment

Retarus IDP will soon be able to remember your key personal settings and automatically apply them the next time the application is launched. These include the language selected as well as date, time, and number formats. Filters that have previously been set – based on status, time period, or preset – will also be retained in the respective table.

What’s more, individualized table layout settings, such as column widths, are retained. This allows users to continue working immediately within their custom view without having to reset their preferences every time.

Adding convenience to your daily work

These new features mean that Retarus IDP now supports even more efficient and transparent document management – from analysis to document editing and onward to your downstream workflows.
