2020 has been a challenging year no matter which way you look at it. Especially during the holiday season, it is essential that we all take a moment to be thankful for all that we have and strive to be more open-hearted and charitable to those who are less fortunate. You’d be surprised just how big a difference kindness and generosity can make.
Our 6th annual “All Wrapped Up” event – where employees sponsor children, seniors, and entire families with presents for the holidays – recently concluded with the our highest ever number of donations! Retarus (North America) Inc. has an annual tradition of partnering with The Bergen Volunteer Center – an organization that turns caring into meaningful action by engaging volunteers to meet community needs.
In total, 83 individuals and families were sponsored this year, with Retarus matching 20. Over the last 6 years, Retarus and its employees have donated holiday gifts to over 400 people as part of the annual “All Wrapped Up” event. While reminiscing about the gatherings in 2018 and 2019 and despite 2020’s unique challenges, Retarus’ employees were committed to having a positive impact on the people of their community.
With masks, social distancing, health, and safety a priority, our Secaucus office ensured this year’s “All Wrapped Up” event was a success. Thank you to all who donated generously and to Retarus for helping make this meaningful, positive event possible. A special thank you to the team who put all the packages together and delivered them in time for the holidays.
