Retarus Press Release:
Retarus awarded NASPO ValuePoint Contract for Cloud Solutions
New York, 03.01.2017 // Retarus, the global cloud messaging provider, has been awarded a NASPO ValuePoint Master Agreement for Cloud Services. On September 30, 2016, the Lead State – State of Utah Division of Purchasing and NASPO ValuePoint presented a 10-year contract to Retarus following a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, specifically for its Cloud Faxing services. The newly acquired master agreement award allows participating U.S. states, territories, and authorized public entities to access and procure Retarus’ cloud managed solutions expeditiously.
ValuePoint’s multi-state collaboration through cooperative purchasing reduces the number of competitive bids and RFPs that states need to issue to receive benefits of cloud service providers. ValuePoint’s cooperative procurements result in awards to premium quality cloud-based service providers helping states, local governments, schools and authorized public entities increase the overall efficiency of the technology departments, as well as improve IT service delivery through reliable and secure cloud-based solutions.
This master agreement aims to improve operational scalability of states, territories and authorized subdivisions by reducing costs, providing business continuity, increasing collaborative efficiencies and expanding flexibility in work practices. As of today, the state governments and authorized public entities with an approved Participating Addendum can now purchase Retarus’ cloud managed solutions from the ValuePoint master agreement.
“Winning the master agreement award is an incredible opportunity for Retarus. It proves Retarus is one of the foremost providers of cloud faxing services today”, said Steve MacDiarmid, President and CEO of retarus Inc. “This contract will put Retarus in the forefront of messaging solutions for state and local governments, making it an immediate choice for the public procurement officials throughout the country. It is an extensive contribution ensuring Retarus’ uninterrupted growth, now and in the future.”
Retarus received an award of NASPO ValuePoint master agreement along with 37 other vendors offering competitively priced cloud solutions to help governments become more agile in deployment of technology solutions. The initial term of this contract is 10 years. Being a provider of cloud faxing and other mission critical messaging cloud solutions under the ValuePoint master agreement makes Retarus a compelling choice for enterprise grade services for state governments, higher education, and varying subdivisions such as universities, local school districts, counties, cities, and more.
